Keegi never tells a manager how much someone works.
It tells a colleague who to ask. There is no productivity score and no activity metric. Not configurable off. Absent. The moment it exists as a setting it exists in a works council’s threat model.
The line, drawn exactly
A manager can see
- Who carries a capability, and whether only one person does.
- Who has an adjacent capability and could cover them.
- Where the organisation has no demonstrated capability at all.
Nobody can see
- Counts of tickets, commits, messages, documents or hours.
- Response times, activity trends, or anything called “influence”.
- Anything that ranks two named people against each other.
- Anything you could paste into a performance review.
- SOC 2. Not certified today. Type I is scheduled and Type II follows it. If that is a blocker for you it is a blocker now, and we would rather tell you than imply otherwise.
- EU data residency. The database is in Ireland and the compute in Dublin, both enforced by a check in the build. Model inference is not pinned: we tried it for four days in August and it broke the engine on both providers that offer Europe. The residency page carries what was tried and what it cost.
- Model isolation and zero retention. Every model call asks for zero data retention and fails rather than falling back to a provider that will not give it. A check fails when the code stops matching the claim.
- Per-source admin control. Everything starts excluded and your admin switches sources on one at a time: citable, or signal-only (contributing to a card but never quoted, shown as “n private sources”).
- Everyone sees their own card. Every employee sees the profile Keegi holds on them, every piece of evidence behind it, and who asked about them. Opting out is one click, reversible, and needs no reason.
